Programme 2011:
Trekking and culture
Dear
mountain friends
In 2011, I
celebrated my trekking day number 2000, 2000 days of
successful tours into the most beautiful mountains in
the world, accompanied by many loyal customers!
Since a lot
of experience flows naturally into my new programs that
I offer for the year 2012. First, enjoy a classic trek
in Nepal: Langtang. Short journey to the point of
departure, magnificent forests and a harsh, mostly
Tibetan valley with scenic mountain shapes. Optionally,
you can complete this trek with a visit to Chitwan
National Park. Further I visit Bukovina/Maramureş
in Romania, culturally very rich areas in the north of
the country. We literally walk from one UNESCO world
heritage site to the next! In summer departure is
planned for the first stage of the spectacular
Matterhorn Tour, from Arolla to Zermatt by the Aosta
Valley. The second part will follow in the 2013. The
unforgettable trek across Zangskar will be offered in
September in Ladakh/Zangskar, along very
impressive, arid mountain scenery full of Buddhist
cultural treasures in the extreme north of India. To
conclude, I would like to introduce to all friends of
leisure walks the Vosges/France, a true gem on
the outskirts of Switzerland. As a special trek (not
listed in the printed program) I organise a group of the
SAC on La Palma/ Canary Islands.
